H2: Job Summary

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office (“AGO”) is seeking highly skilled Senior Paralegals to provide legal support to the Assistant Attorney Generals with researching, analyzing, and preparing legal documents. Senior Paralegals work closely with a team of attorneys to draft, review and proofread a variety of documents and policies, rules and laws, and ensure compliance with the office’s legal policies and procedures.

H2: Job Duties

• Timely and accurate preparation of a wide variety of legal correspondence, briefs, pleadings, motions, legal notices and forms
• Draft and review legal memoranda analyzing complex legal and factual issues and performing substantive legal research
• Prepare discovery documents and file appropriate discovery documentation and pleadings with the court
• Manage the disclosure process in complex cases involving voluminous documents, including organizing the documents and bates stamping, redacting, creating the disclosure index and conducting document review and preparation of discovery materials for trial cases
• Prepare for filing with the court complex disclosure statements summary reports and exhibits under the supervision of the attorney
• Maintain legal records, files, and case management system
