Corporate Counsel The candidate will be responsible to provide legal advice to General Counsel/CEO on regulatory issues, FMLA, NLRB and other corporate issues. Manage timely and accurate filings and registrations with state entities. Draft and edit legal plans contracts, and security, non-disclosure and vendor agreements. Respond to fee reimbursement appeals from Plan members. Provide contracts and coverage training as requested. Respond to external inquiries as assigned by General Counsel.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelorâ€™s degree from an accredited university or J.D. from an accredited law school. Must 5+ years practice experience and member in good standing of Ohio bar. Should have strong time management skills with detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to handle a high volume workload. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners and customers, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team. Ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization. Previous experience in practice areas covered by the legal plan is advantageous.
