Conflicts Analyst Candidate will have responsibility for the entire conflict research and identification process as it relates to new business of the firm, from research and identification through resolution and clearance. This includes preparing initial conflicts analysis, providing support to firm attorneys in resolution and clearing of conflicts and drafting of engagement and waiver letters. Will partner with attorneys in the department’s leadership to ensure firm compliance with ethical rules governing lawyers and complete other projects as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of professional work experience or 2 years of related legal experience. Prior experience working in a law firm conflicts research role or as a paralegal is highly desirable. Additionally, a successful candidate will possess strong issue identification, research and analytical skills; strong communication, customer service, attention to detail and organizational skills; and proven ability to provide high quality, accurate and efficient work product in a high volume environment.

There is a need for training of management staff to be more organized with the work and implement a much more organized working structure. More employees should be hired so that some of the staff does not have to stay in later to work.

Pros : The law firm offers a shuttle service. The environment of the law firm is composed of considerate and employees who do well at the work they perform.
Cons : The law firm really needs to consider hiring more employees for the office. Some of the staff is sometimes asked to work until the later hours. Management lacks in being organized with work.
