Contracts Attorney Duties: Prepare, review, and draft contacts and agreements, including service agreements, vendor agreements, and various standard business agreements. Represent the company in contractual negotiations with customers, vendors, & suppliers to ensure timely review and approval/reconciliation of variances Manage all phases of timely contract processing from initial terms to final approval and maintenance in database. Improve efficiency and effectiveness of contract support while maintaining quality and consistency of contracts across the company following best practices, processes and procedures. Coordinate with all departments and act as an advisor in legal work and issues.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: JD Degree from accredited law school; must be admitted to the Florida Bar or licensed to practice law in one or more states and eligible to qualify as Florida authorized house counsel. 3+ years of proven experience managing and negotiating contracts for an organization. Demonstrable skill in drafting, negotiating, and understanding contract provisions and risk allocation. Strong negotiation skills. Strong communications and legal writing skills. Ability to multi-task, stay organized and have strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Capability to initiate and implement process. Strong work ethic and demonstrated good judgement and discretion. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and seek guidance when necessary. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
