Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Keep cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars, key dates and deadlines; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; confirming case status with attorney, schedule depositions, draft discovery requests, draft responses to opposing counsel's demands. Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, copying, transmitting data, as directed by attorneys. Prepare authorizations for medical and other record collection and follow up on same. Manage documents, pleadings and files according to firm procedures. Represent attorney by communicating and obtaining information, following-up on delegated assignments. Maintain client confidentiality.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: 2 - 5 years Law Firm Experience. Litigation experience preferred. Federal and State Court E-filing Experience, preferred. Strong computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Adobe). Strong communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and proof reading skills.
