Duties:

• Collaborate with managing attorneys and paralegals to efficiently progress cases through the estate planning process.
• Draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Provide clients with detailed information on estate planning options, including retirement benefits, charitable contributions, and insurance.
• Maintain and organize client files to ensure they are up to date.
• Advise clients on asset distribution and estate management strategies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience handling estate planning and probate law in a legal firm.
• Strong communication skills, particularly when managing sensitive and emotional client situations.
• Solid understanding of various real estate and probate matters, including title insurance, property management, and litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active New York State Bar membership.
