Los Angeles office of our client seeks disputes lawyer with 3-6 years of privacy and cyber security experience in-house or at a large or specialized firm. The candidate should have experience of advisory (preparing privacy policies, reviewing online terms and conditions, researching technology law issues), transactional (drafting and negotiating technology agreements and vendor contracts), and/or crisis management (responding to a data security incident or a government inquiry from the Federal Trade Commission or State Attorneys General). Experience evaluating impact of privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, COPPA, GDPR), regulatory guidance, and enforcement actions, and other related guidelines on product or service features is preferred. On-going active interest in privacy and cybersecurity work required. Must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the California Bar. CIPP or other relevant industry certification or specialization is preferred.
