Senior Wealth Advisor Responsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities: Proactive and effective relationship management of associated clients, which typically require complex solutions. Development of a comprehensive personal and financial wealth profile on the client and the clientâ€™s family including identification of wealth related life goals. Design and implement, in collaboration with the clientâ€™s professional advisors and BPW partners, a wealth plan integrating wealth management, wealth transfer and tax efficiency goals. Support and supplement modelling of wealth plans for ultra-high net worth clients. Work in close collaboration with the Portfolio Manager, Trust Officer, Banker and other Boston Private professionals in the implementation of the clientâ€™s wealth plan. Monitor and periodically update client wealth plan. Provide active assistance in the sales process and identification of opportunities to expand client relationships through the introduction of new Boston Private products and services. Ensure appropriate relationship documentation as well as tracking in CRM. Actively engage in cultivation of professional advisor relationships, including attendance at and participation in professional conferences and professional advisor networks. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: College degree; advanced degree preferred. 7+ yearsâ€™ experience working with high net worth individuals and families providing comprehensive wealth planning. Preferred professional designations or advanced educational certifications include CFP, JD, MBA or similar evidence of advanced learning and professional consulting qualification gained through work experience. Strong knowledge of wealth transfer planning, taxation, estate planning solutions, wealth management products and services usually acquired through extensive work related experience with high net worth clients in financial services, law, or consulting. Broad based technical and analytical skills in wealth planning, wealth transfer, tax, philanthropy, fiduciary practice, asset location and preservation and related disciplines. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a proactive consultative orientation.
