Legal Intern The Intern will assist with a variety of projects, which may include one or more of the following: researching county datasets; cleaning data, identifying relevant fields for analysis, and building data dictionaries; analyzing operational and financial data; researching and documenting operational processes within the office and other county departments; developing work product to present data and analysis; and preparing data to release to the public. Should have strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills with strong oral and written communications skills and very strong attention to detail. Should be incoming college seniors or currently pursuing a graduate degree in public policy, economics, computer science, or a related field with academic or professional experience in the areas of public policy, economics, computer science, data analysis, or a related field. Proficiency in Excel; proficiency in SAS and/or R a plus; experience cleaning large datasets, conducting economic research, or designing data architecture preferred.
