Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate working part time will be preparing discovery requests responses. Issuing subpoenas and notices of deposition. Handling court filings, Managing case calendars. Document review and research. Interfacing with clients and prospective clients.Handling all incoming/outgoing mail. Maintaining office supplies. Handling all vendor invoices/payments. Preparing and handling all client invoices/payments, and Handling all the scheduling needs of the office and attorneys. Should have strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses etc., Should have very detailed organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork and maintain multiple deadlines, Superb time management skills and the ability to asses which in a myriad of tasks is top priority, Must be very comfortable with computers, technology, and learning multiple different software programs- demonstrated experience with PCs, Microsoft products, and Adobe Acrobat.
