Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation (Media and Entertainment Law) The candidate will undertake a range of tasks and responsibilities that facilitate and coordinate the activities of the practice group. Will be editing and formatting pleadings and correspondences, scheduling depositions and hearings, trial preparation, calendaring (litigation and Outlook), scheduling travel, filings within the State and Federal courts, file organization (hard copy and electronic), time entry, billing and any other administrative tasks assigned. Ability to organize multiple assignments and manage multiple priorities, that often change with little notice. Is required. Must have excellent writing, technical, interpersonal, research and organization skills. Must have a proven track record of being able to multi-task, communicate effectively and meet deadlines. 5+ years' litigation experience working with Partners and in media law highly preferred. College degree, a plus. Must demonstrate a high degree of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly with Word and Outlook. Prior time entry and billing experience, 3E preferred. Top-notch accuracy and organization skills required.

This firm needs to have more options for employees to move forward. Otherwise they will get bored and look for better opportunities elsewhere.

Pros : I've worked at this firm for several years now and can honestly say it's one of the best places to work. The hours are perfect and give you a good work and home balance. Management and I get along great and I've made some really good friendships at this firm.
Cons : My only issue with this firm is the lack of mobility. I like the position I have been in, but if I ever want to move up I need to change where I work. The positions available to move up at this firm are very slim to none.
