Duties
- Lead and manage life science intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, licensing agreements, and IP litigation.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for IP portfolio management and growth.
- Provide expert advice on complex life science IP issues to clients and internal teams.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels.
- Drive business development efforts to expand the firm’s client base and revenue in the life sciences sector.
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff in IP matters.
- Collaborate with other practice areas to offer comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Stay current on industry trends, legal developments, and emerging technologies in the life sciences field.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona.
- Experience in life science intellectual property law.
- Demonstrated success with a portable and consistent business book of $600,000+.
- Extensive experience in patent prosecution, IP transactions, and litigation within the life sciences sector.
- Proven ability to manage and lead complex IP matters effectively.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
