Personal Injury Legal Assistant
The candidate will manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment. Will establish and organize case files for new and existing clients. Maintain case management system by uploading all client documents. Keep clients informed on a regular basis by maintaining contact with client and communicating case progress. Support case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, etc. Monitor and obtain discovery responses. Request medical records from providers.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have 2-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or case manager. Should have experience using a case management system, preferably Needles. Strong Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills needed. Ability to manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment is required. Strong ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills is essential. Strong client/colleague communication skills are a must. Candidates who have worked as personal injury case managers or legal assistants are encouraged to apply. Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment is essential.
