Legal Assistant The candidate will assist and provide administrative support to attorneys with all facets of their daily responsibilities governing securities regulation and general corporate matters. Assist in the preparation and submission of documents to the Securities and Exchange Commission and other federal securities regulators, such as proposed changes to exchange rules. Oversee the preparation and filing of various corporate filings with government entities. Conduct legal research on issues related to equities, options, futures, and foreign exchange market structure and trading. Assist in the maintenance of internal policies and procedures issued by the Legal Team. Assist in the implementation of certain internal audit recommendations. Assist in the support of the firm’s enterprise risk management function. Should have equivalent of Bachelor’s degree. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Should have strong analytical and research skills.
