Group Superintendent, GS 11 Responsibilities: The candidate serves as the commander?s key enlisted advocate and advisor on readiness, training, and logistical support. Provides technical and administrative supervision for team of 2-3 employees. Performs a variety of duties that ensure the efficient functioning of the enlisted forces. Performs work for the planning and management of the administrative budget and related financial documents. Reviews and analyzes reports to determine program strengths and weaknesses. Participates in discussions, meetings or chairs/serves on panels or committees. Provides sound technical advice and assistance on assigned program requirements, applicable legislation, policy, and regulations.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: GS-11: Must have 1 year of specialized experience which includes providing oversight and guidance of the organizing, equipping, training, and logistical operational readiness to meet peacetime and wartime tasking. Acts in a staff advisory role in regards to the development of short and long range solutions to complex and ongoing problems and initiates or recommends policy, procedural or program changes to resolve problems. Recommends redirection of assets if necessary to achieve improved overall mission effectiveness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the GS-09 grade/level position or equivalent in the federal service. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
