Paralegal Training Coordinator
Candidate will assist in creating training materials, presentations, and development activities – as well as manage and coordinate the Paralegal training and development program. Will have substantive experience as a Paralegal and knowledge of training principles/methodologies. In coordination with the Sr. Manager; benchmark, analyze, plan, and manage the training and development activities for the participants. Identifies skill or knowledge gaps among the employee population and develops training content in response to identified training needs. Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted. Creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials. Manages the delivery and administration of the development program. Coordinate the development and organization of training materials, manuals, and presentations. Track, analyze and evaluate program design and retention trends. Make related recommendations. Assesses the impact of training programs by measuring employee understanding of the subject matter.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Four year degree preferred or 6+ years of significant and substantive experience as a paralegal/legal assistant in a large law firm setting. Paralegal certification from an ABA accredited program preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, terminology, principles and procedures of American law as well as knowledge of functions and jurisdictions of local, state and federal courts and government agencies. Skill in extracting and utilizing information from statutes, court decisions, codes and other legal resources. Strong background in training/mentoring concepts and philosophies. Demonstrated knowledge of both litigation and transactional practices preferred. Ability to think clearly, respond positively, evaluate situations and determine appropriate action and act decisively under pressure.
