Arlington office of our client seeks general practice attorney with 1-4 years of experience. The candidate will work on a variety of cases, generally litigation heavy, from start to finish in a variety of practice areas. Will have communication with clients, witnesses, expert witnesses, consultants, opposing counsels, and other third parties effectively. Prioritizing and responding to client and court needs. Maintain case information electronically. Consistently draft well written and well thought out letters, briefs, motions, contracts, pleadings, and memoranda. Keep current and accurate time records. Use appropriate care to ensure that legal and factual issues relevant to the cases are handled and properly explored. Prepared, on time, and effective at advocating for clients at hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, arbitrations. Identify and analyze incoming cases and complex legal issues and determine course of action. Negotiate effectively. Electronically review and redact documentation provided by client, as needed. Move cases forward by timely scheduling and daily review of all incoming case documents, emails, and requests. Should be Texas licensed and in good-standing attorney.
