Legal and Regulatory Analyst The candidate under the supervision of attorney (s), is responsible for providing or arranging for a variety of legal services to internal clients including: contract analysis and drafting; identification of legal related issues, research, interpretation and analysis of complex legal issues; monitoring of regulatory compliance; recommendations to clients regarding legal and regulatory compliance issues; preparation and regulatory filing of documents; and review of documents generated by clients and outside parties for general legal risk management. Works at the direction of the Senior Director Associate General Counsel or his or her delegate who oversees this person’s work.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Must have 5+ years of experience in the field. Should have legal research & drafting skills. Paralegal Experience desired. 5+ years of experience in managed care, health care or insurance industry practice, law firm, and/or experience in a highly regulated industry, for example, finance or banking is required. Should have advanced legal research skills. Must have excellent organization skills. Should have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Legal drafting experience is required. Relevant knowledge of the health care or insurance industry, or relevant knowledge of a highly regulated industry is needed.
