Employee Relations Manager
The candidate will handle duties that include: Independently own large scale, network-wide projects that improve the associate experience; Partner and influence senior leaders when necessary to ensure a positive associate experience; Partner with senior leaders and HR teams to create and sustain positive employee relations programs and best practices tailored to business needs; Design and conduct multiple positive labor relations trainings and communications; Design, collect, and analyze multiple levels of associate feedback; Conduct and oversee employee relations and vulnerability assessment programs; Partner to engage in continuous improvement in communication vehicles and practices; Analyze, diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations. Must have 7+ years’ direct experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law with an emphasis on labor and employee relations work. Experience in warehouse and/or transportation facilities nearly essential; experience in unionized environments a significant plus. Advanced degree, JD, or other specialized training in labor/employee relations required. Must have solid understanding of federal and state employment & labor laws.
