Location:
Duties:
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders.
- Represent clients in court hearings and trials.
- Collaborate with paralegals to achieve client objectives.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring they are up to date.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, helping them navigate their legal challenges.
- Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings.
- Mentor and guide assigned paralegals, ensuring they understand and embody the firm's core values.
- Analyze legal issues, create strategic plans of action, and provide effective solutions to clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, particularly in emotional and stressful situations.
- Experience with family law and real estate matters, especially with marital property division.
- Extra consideration for candidates with a criminal justice background.
- Strong knowledge of representing plaintiffs and defendants in family law cases.
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Georgia.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active Georgia Bar License (Required).
