Secretary The candidate will be an essential component to the advocacy efforts of the office. Some of the ongoing initiatives of the office include: health-care advocacy to aging and disabled populations, assistance to victims of domestic violence, Hispanic outreach and legal assistance and advocacy services to institutionalized individuals and residents of Long Term Care Facilities, to name a few. Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and advocate staff. Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: provide ancillary typing; file maintenance and organization; upkeep of office library; communication with clients; and develop community education materials.Qualification and Experience
The candidate must be at least a High School graduate. Must type 50 WPM; and pass grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, and proofreading tests. Must be familiar with basic office duties and be knowledgeable in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook. Must be licensed to drive and have reliable transportation. The candidate with prior legal secretarial experience preferred.
