Trusts and Estates Paralegal The candidate will do preparation of probate pleadings (petitions, inventories, accountings, final reports, etc.); Preparation of documents relating to the identification, collection, and valuation of assets; Fiduciary accounting; and Preparation of estate, gift, and income tax returns. Should have 3+ years of experience in handling of all aspects of the estate and trust administration process. Fiduciary administration and/or accounting experience desirable. Must have hands-on experience in a collaborative, sophisticated and team-oriented work environment. Must have excellent oral and written communication, computer (including Microsoft Word and Excel), problem solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Law firm must show a greater willingness to accept flexible staffing arrangements and invest in productivity increases through more competent use of technology tools. Stress level of senior attorneys should be lowered.

Pros : Prestigious law firm, looks good on your resume. Smart people, good insight into big law life and good compensation too. Good formal training programs. Variety of work, unlike other firms where attorneys are stuck doing one type of work.
Cons : Long unpredictable hours. Expectations and work can be demanding at times. Can be very intense and often would feel overwhelmed. Senior attorneys constantly stressed which can lead to a difficult unpleasant work environment.
