New York City office of an AmLaw firm seeks patent prosecution associate attorney with 1-4 years of experience. The candidate will work in the firm?s Life Sciences patent group. Will draft and prosecute patent applications, prepare patent opinion letters, provide Intellectual Property counseling to clients, and conduct patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions. Supervise junior attorneys and patent agents as part of global client service teams. Must have backgrounds in one of the following fields: cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, organic synthetic chemistry, organic chemistry, genetics, immunology, biophysics, biomedical engineering, or digital health focused disciplines. Advanced degree is preferred. Current Patent Bar membership with previous law firm experience is required.
