Job Description

Duties:

• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Develop and form arguments and represent clients in wage and hour matters.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients on legal matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Manage and prioritize a high-volume caseload.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and regulations.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment class action litigation.
• Superior analytical and legal research skills.
• Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise common sense and sound judgment in complex situations.
• High level of adaptability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the California State Bar.
