Paralegal - Supporting Families Workgroup LA Justice Fund The candidate will travel regularly to Adelanto and other local detention facilities to conduct client intake, prepare legal forms and client declarations. Will work in conjunction with the staff attorneys. Collect client data for grant reporting purposes; and Attend various community meetings. A four (4) year degree preferred. Must have Paralegal certificate or 1+ year relevant work experience. Experience in providing assistance to clients who are the victims of violence, including experience interviewing clients is required. Experience with immigration applications such as U Visa, VAWA, T Visa preferred. General knowledge of immigration law preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
