ProfileDenver office of our client seeks litigation attorney with preferably 2-5 years of experience. The candidate will perform litigation cases including insurance defense matters, and plaintiff and defense litigation involving claims of all types but often related to breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, FHAA complaints, and real estate matters. Will perform a variety of transactional matters for homeowner association clients and maintains considerable contact with clients. Participate in court cases through all phases including evaluation, intake, discovery, settlement, trial, and appeal phases. Respond to client inquiries regarding status of pending matters. Review and analyze association governing documents, statutes and case law, contracts, insurance policies, real estate documents and maps in order to advise, counsel and provide legal representation to clients. Draft documents to provide legal representation to clients, including contracts, opinion letters, governing documents, rules, easement contracts, and licenses. Perform legal research using available resources, libraries and data systems. Formulate well-founded written and verbal opinions to clients. Advise and communicate regularly with clients in person, via phone, e-mail and written correspondence regarding the status of their matter. Attend board and meetings when appropriate, often during evening hours. Participate in firm marketing initiatives and business development efforts, including participation in educational programs provided by the firm to clients and management companies. Must be licensed to practice Law in Colorado.
