Conflicts Supervisor Duties: Supervising staff on a daily basis to ensure optimal workflow in a deadline-driven environment. The scope of supervision will consist of reviewing timesheets, performance evaluations, as well as provide support to non-exempt staff. You will work with conflicts staff on new business intake, lateral due diligence and other new business risk related activities. In collaboration with staff of the Office of the General counsel, will work to provide clearance of risk issues while ensuring compliance with firm standards. Will include analyzing large amounts of complicated data and converting the results into a clear and concise format.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate. 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within Conflicts administration. History of increasing responsibility with new business intake and conflict resolution in a large law firm. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Preferred: Familiarity with legal terminology and business practices. Experience with risk related tools (e.g., Wall Builder, Blue Box).
