Paralegal Specialist Duties: Work on a team that manages large volumes of documents, and review, organize and maintain document databases for case tracking, discovery, and document production. You will draft standard and recurrent pleadings, e-file and serve documents, and assist attorneys in preparing pleadings/motions for filing and service. Assisting attorneys in various offices across the firm in support of our clients, including helping to prepare the necessary documents for witness interviews, depositions, hearings, and trials. Responsible for locating and reviewing information applicable to a particular case, person, or subject through online research or document reviews.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree. 10 years experience as a litigation paralegal in a mid/large size law firm. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong oral and written communication skills . Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Able to delegate work and manage large amounts of data. Experience with Cite-Checking and Blue Booking. Team player. Self-starter. Able to work independently. Preferred: Trial experience and mass tort experience, strongly preferred . Proficient with legal software such as Relativity. Experience with litigation technology including eDiscovery and eRooms . Experience with Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis. Experience using Pacer and Courtlink . Advanced understanding of Federal, State and local rules of procedure, as well as court filing procedures (electronic and hard copy) . Ability to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment for resolution.
