Location:

Duties:
- Manage significant client contact, from post-intake through discovery and conclusion
- Prepare, draft, and file legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on the legal implications of divorce law and other family law matters
- Negotiate settlements and assist in resolving disputes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Requirements:
- Previous experience in law
- Familiarity with legal documents and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and effectively manage relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois
Skills:
- Proficient in legal research, drafting, and writing
- Strong litigation skills, especially in family law matters
- Client-focused with the ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Ability to negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal counsel
- Familiarity with Cook County Domestic Relations Division or collar counties is a plus
