Litigation Assistant Duties: Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery in Oregon state courts and Federal Courts. Transcribing. Filing pleadings. Calendaring. Coordinating between vendors and other office locations. Customer service. General office duties: filing, scanning, copying, etc. Front desk duties: Phones, emails, etc. Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: 1+ year office related experience in a related field (legal, bankruptcy, mortgage, banking, etc.). File processing experience. Experience working with attorneys. Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent customer service skills. High proficiency with computers and technology. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn new programs quickly.
