ProfileLegal Assistant The candidate will assist attorneys in the preparation of pleadings and discovery, drafting of correspondence, manage attorneys' calendar, schedule and coordinate meetings, calendar all court deadlines, filing court documents via electronic filing systems, schedule depositions, perform specialized and confidential duties which often require independent judgment, including organizing and prioritizing tasks. Will manage accounts payable and receivable. Work independently, meeting deadlines and handling a wide variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision. Should have 4+ years of experience as a legal assistant (criminal law preferred). Must be proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quickbooks Online; Bilingual: English and Spanish.
