Junior Paralegal The candidate will provide contract and immigration support to the Legal and Immigration departments. Will draft, review, and revise various contracts (MSAâ€™s, SOWâ€™s, etc.). Review the Partner or Customer Master Agreement to ensure it is valid for the current transaction and meets defined firm standards. Identify, analyze, articulate, and communicate contractual positions. Assisting with maintenance of electronic tracking system for contracts, development of form agreements, and implementation of processes and procedures for review and approval of agreements. Assisting the in-house Immigration department and other employees with matters related to contract management, negotiation, and compliance with company policy. Monitor status of a high volume of active and pending immigration petitions. Assisting in training internal employee on contract forms and procedures and acting as a company resource for contract questions. Provide timely and thoughtful advice on potential risks and issues. Other duties assigned. Bachelorâ€™s degree is preferred; or Paralegal or equivalent experience required; paralegal certificate a plus. Must have 1- 3 years of experience focused on corporate contracts. Should have 1-3 years of employment immigration experience including experience administering filing and preparing visa filings, with knowledge of current and evolving U.S. immigration laws, highly preferred. Experience with an immigration law firm, department, or corporate immigration function is essential. (prior in-house experience preferred). Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an intermediate understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to handle multiple complex and challenging assignments with short turnaround deadlines.
