ProfileParalegal The candidate provide a range of administrative and organizational support to staff social workers and attorneys. Work for a premier child advocacy program. Should have experience multidisciplinary practice of lawyers and social workers, outstanding staff collegiality, and commitment to quality service. Reports to the Director of Intake and Pro Bono Services. Primary job responsibilities include: Receive and distribute electronic filing from the Philadelphia Court System; Conflicts checks on case referrals; Intake on new cases; Record Requests; Support staff social workers and attorneys; Assist with the Center for Excellence in Advocacy’s training programs; Data Entry; Proofread and edit legal briefs, motions and petitions; Legal research; File organization; Minute keeping; Other duties as needed. An Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies, with 3 years of experience in a legal setting. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in a non-profit setting is a plus. Computer proficiency with MS Office and experience in databases required. Experience with MS- Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, and/or Raiser’s Edge a plus.
