Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Duties:

• Engage in complex litigation, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Participate in discovery processes, including managing ESI (electronically stored information).
• Take depositions and make court appearances.
• Work collaboratively with diverse legal teams while also being capable of handling individual responsibilities.
• Lead or support litigation efforts from inception through trial and appeal.
• Contribute to high-stakes class action lawsuits, standing up against corporations that harm consumers.
• Attend settlement conferences and engage in negotiations.
• Opportunity to work on pro bono matters and develop a personalized legal practice.
• Provide leadership within the firm’s flat organizational structure.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of litigation experience (plaintiff or defense) or a completed federal clerkship.
• Demonstrated courtroom experience, including depositions and trial work.
• Proven ability to manage complex discovery and ESI.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with a focus on legal writing and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California Bar.

Certifications:

• California State Bar License in good standing.
