Franchise Transaction Program Manager Duties: Coordination of franchise sales and transitions including approval, document preparation and review and the facilitation of closing and post-closing activities to ensure a smooth, efficient and positive transaction experience. Serve as a main point of contact with purchasers, track, monitor and manage all commitments and action items related to the franchise transactions including functioning as an inter department team lead to facilitate timely and efficient new franchisee onboarding process and managing all aspects of Discovery Day. Prepare documents for franchise sales, transitions, beginning of terms, terminations, breaches and other related documents. Serve as main point of contact regarding the sale of Unishippers franchises to inside buyers including qualification, disclosure and franchise documentation. Serve as main point of contact with all purchasers regarding collection, organization and signing of necessary franchise documentation until sale is completed. Track, monitor and manage all commitments and action items related to the franchise transactions including serving as inter department team lead to facilitate timely and efficient new franchisee on-boarding process. Create and maintain sales inventory data/territory maps and franchise sales records. Provide and review FDD and related documents with prospects. Manage all aspects of Discovery Day. Assist with annual updates and amendments to the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), including state registration where required. Draft, modify and review contracts as needed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Paralegal Certificate plus 5+ years’ experience as a corporate and/or transactional paralegal or related experience is preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Franchise law, business/corporate law, contract law, UCC law and trademark/copyright law experience helpful. Legal research and writing experience required. Project management and customer service experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MapPoint).
