Immigration Paralegal - Consular Processing The candidate will participate in all aspects of the Immigration practice, including assisting in the management of client relationships, case review, analysis, preparation and filing non-immigrant petitions. Analyze documents and prepare USCIS forms I-130, I-601A, I-601, I-212, I-824, I-129F. Prepare and obtain various FOIA record requests on behalf of clients. Perform client interviews to draft declarations. Prepare clients for Consular Interviews abroad. Communicate with USCIS and NVC regarding procedural and case processing issues. Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systems. Follow internal office procedures. Make regular updates to the case management system, including client information, case tracking information, and client communications. Maintain hard copy files and documents to support all immigration activity on behalf of clients. Ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress of their cases. Assist attorneys and other team members to manage caseload. Complete assignments and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisors. Should have 1-2 years of Immigration Law experience. Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field is required. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is required. Experience with Case Management Software is required. Spanish skills are preferred.
