Legal Assistant for Personal Injury Attorney Duties: Exercise independent judgment and decision making while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and upholding ethical standards. Be a self-motivated professional capable of handling large caseloads and legal projects. Reach out to potential clients, schedule and manage client intake. Manage the case including discovery, ordering and compiling medical records and history. Write representation, demand and other letters of correspondence needed to settle claims. Draft litigation documents, maintain litigation calendar and support attorneys with legal correspondence and client communication. Communicate with insurance companies, claims adjusters and opposing counsel. File case documents. Respond to matters related to compliance and regulation. Assist in case settlements including lien resolution. Help provide the client with an excellent experience in every way possible. Have a sound working knowledge of federal and state court system, legal research procedures, and legal research resources. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to perform legal research using tools such as Lexis and Westlaw. Be an expert with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases spreadsheets, and imaging.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements : The candidate shall have 1 year of experience. Experience in the area of personal injury is a plus, but not required.
