Paralegal, Estate Planning and Elder Law The candidate will be preparing draft estate planning documents including revocable living trusts, special needs trusts, powers of attorney, advance medical directives and Wills; guardianship petitions; various letters, memos and other documents. Will be handling the administration of an estate, including the preparation of fiduciary tax returns. Reviewing and proofreading all documents for spelling, grammar, layout, content and context issues; maintaining the highest level of accuracy in documentation. Greeting clients and providing assistance, including attending document signings, when needed. Responsibility for the proper creation, updating, maintenance and retrieval of related files. Should have 2 - 5 years of experience. Experience drafting estate planning documents are needed. Excellent organizational and communication skills with close attention to detail is needed. Must have high level of proficiency using a variety of office equipment, including computer, copier, facsimile, scanner, and telephone, etc. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy is needed. Excellent ability using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is needed. Experience with Wealthdox, Elderdox, Hotdocs, and GEMS software is needed.
