ProfileImmigration Attorney The candidate will represent individuals pursuing benefits or seeking relief under the Immigration and Nationality Act. Will conduct thorough intakes to ascertain immigration relief. Handle large caseload providing direct representation to individuals eligible for immigration relief. Provide representation to individuals in immigration removal proceedings as well as before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Immigration Courts, or Texas state courts if related to a client’s immigration case. Assume general administrative responsibilities, including detailed case management supervision of a legal assistant, and timekeeping. Conduct Know Your Rights presentations and other community outreach, as needed, in San Antonio, West Texas and/or South Texas. Other duties, activities, and responsibilities, as assigned. Should have J.D. Degree from an accredited law school. Admission to Texas state Bar preferred. Fluency in Spanish (speak, read and write) is required. Experience in immigration and family law preferred.
