Staff Administrator, GS 9 Duties: The candidate will conduct staff inspections to ensure compliance with administrative regulations and procedures. Will review regulations and directives related to administration and military personnel programs, functions and procedures. Participate in management of unit and individual training. Manage records and filing systems. Process personnel actions. Advise staff on administrative matters. Prepare and review correspondence. Advise staff on training requirements needs.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2+ years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
Should have 1 year of specialized experience is defined as: utilizing knowledge of training programs, techniques and requirements to identify training needs; utilizing knowledge of training regulations, directives and policies to provide guidance and resolve problems; processing military personnel or pay actions; and reviewing, maintaining and updating automated systems.
