Legal Intern, Fall 2018 Interns will provide important support to Department attorneys by, among other things, organizing discovery documents for enforcement cases and permit hearings; drafting legal papers such as orders on consent, and administrative pleadings and motions; attending Pre-Hearing Conferences in enforcement cases, internal meetings, and meetings with external entities; and generating letters to respondents or permittees. Legal interns also conduct extensive legal research using online resources and assorted treatises and draft memoranda of law. Preferred Standing 3rd Year Law Student. Minimum Standing: 2nd Year Law Student.
