Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible to organize documents and coordinate document productions to include bates-stamping, redaction, and indexing of documents. Work under the guidance of an attorney on electronic productions. Prepare a chronology of facts, medical records and create production logs. Obtain, review, organize preliminary documentation and information received from clients and opposing counsel. Create and maintain internal case management databases, run searches on internal and external resources. Assist in locating fact witnesses and expert witnesses; gather and prepare documents relevant to testimony; conduct interviews of witnesses within scope of paralegal’s job function. Assist attorney(s) in developing the defense of case and trial strategy. Draft correspondence and responsive pleadings, routine motions, discovery and affidavits for review and signature by attorney. Assist in trial preparations to include organization of file and exhibits; coordinate trial set-up and logistics; assist attorneys in courtroom when needed; serve as liaison with witnesses.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have 4 year degree in paralegal studies or a Bachelor’s degree in another field and one year certification in Paralegal Studies with strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and file management experience. Must have 3+ years of experience in litigation supporting a team of attorneys in the health law and products liability practice areas.
