Palo Alto office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an electrical engineering/computer science patent attorney with 3-5 years of experience in patent prep and prosecution work. The candidate should have experience reviewing technical invention disclosures, preparing for and participating in patent disclosure meetings with inventors, conducting patentability analysis, preparing and filing patent applications in high technology product development, prosecution of patent applications, in both the U.S. and foreign countries, and preparing office action responses, conducting patent landscape and freedom-to-operate searches, and assisting IP due diligence in financing and partnering transactions. Must have a State Bar admission (California bar preferred, but not required) and USPTO bar admission. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or similar is required.
