Paralegal Duties: Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, policies, and legal codes. Prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, initial and amended articles of incorporation, policies, buy-sell agreements, closing papers and binders, deeds, and trust instruments for review, approval, and use by Corporate Secretary. Investigate facts and case law to determine causes of action and to prepare case accordingly. Prepare affidavits of documents and maintains document file. Prepare office accounts. Prepare real estate closing statement and assists in closing process. Act as law librarian, keeping and monitoring legal volumes and ensuring legal volumes are up-to-date. File correspondence and legal documents in office filing system. Ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents. Perform other clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, taking dictation, composing and typing routine correspondence, and reading/routing incoming mail.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelorâ€™s Degree required. 3-5 Years Experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and to effectively present information and respond to questions in an organized manner. Organize and prioritize work to be done in order to meet deadlines. Manage multiple projects in an orderly and timely manner.
