Affirmative Action Director The candidate will serve as the expert for the organization on Affirmative Action Plans, Equal Employment Opportunity reports (EEO-1s) and the Veterans 4212. Will coordinate with and lead internal and external resources in all phases of completion, submission, communication, goal implementation and training for the annual Affirmative Action Plans, Equal Employment Opportunity reports (EEO-1s) and the Veterans 4212 report to ensure regulatory compliance. Develop strategy to maintain compliance with EEO 11246, in cost effective manner. Lead preparation of Affirmative Action Plans, EEO-1 and Veterans 4212 reports. Collaborate with HR teams, third party vendor/s and legal counsel to provide all required compliance data reports, spreadsheets and documents related to the AAPs, EEO-1s and 4212s. Review workforce and applicant reports as well as final Affirmative Action Plan reports to ensure accuracy and integrity. Periodically audits plan codes, plan preparation, and recordkeeping requirements. Engage key Human Resources and other functional stakeholders to maintain compliance. Lead responses to audits and inspection requests in a timely manner. Stay current and provide guidance on changing regulations and support HR compliance programs and practices (i.e. OFCCP, EEOC, Section 503, and other EEO policies.). Provide guidance to Human Resources leadership in the establishment of goals and objectives pertinent to the Affirmative Action Plans. Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports to support HR and other corporate departments as needed including audits, company demographics, location specific information and other requests as assigned, while working under tight deadlines. Must have Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Master’s degree or JD preferred. Should have expert and professional knowledge of regulations related to Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity. Must have extensive experience in development and management of AAPs in a complex organization, in a cost-effective manner.
