Criminal Law - Prosecution
Bilingual Paralegal/Victim Advocate The candidate will report to the Staff Attorney. This position will be primarily responsible for 1) providing client intake, victim service referrals and resources to clients and 2) serving as a paralegal on all legal cases handled by the Program Director and other attorneys. Also be responsible for court scheduling for pro and low bono attorneys and assisting the Attorney and Case Management Coordinator in maintaining client intake forms, client files, training evaluations, and client satisfaction forms. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish. Must have experience with both civil and criminal matters. Knowledge of South Carolina’s criminal justice system, particularly from a crime victim’s standpoint is required. Should have demonstrated experience working with diverse clients. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English). Familiarity with Box and Clio file management/storage systems is required.
