Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day advice and counseling to sales, customer service/support, marketing, product management, R&D, and other key functional areas. Draft and negotiate various agreements including commercial-technology agreements such as license, service, hosting, and partner agreements. Mitigate risk in connection with the launch of new products and services. Develop and implement legal training for internal clients. Assist with dispute management. Provide support for other attorneys and for company-wide legal initiatives, as needed
Qualification and Experience Qualifications: 4+ years of major law firm and/or in-house practice experience is required. Must be a member in good standing of the state bar where licensed. Must have a J.D. degree from an accredited US law school. Must have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment, make decisions, and advise in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize workflow based on the company's commercial priorities and strategic goals. Ability to function as a team player, collaborating with colleagues, clients, and business leaders to further the company's strategic objectives. Ability to interact diplomatically and persuasively with employees at all levels. Preferred: An interest in technology and experience negotiating technology contracts. Data privacy expertise
