Compliance Analyst
The candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks and projects in ACE’s centralized consumer complaint process, compliance monitoring and provides general support to the Compliance Department. Monitor Operations Support System (“OSS”) and identify consumer complaints that may indicate compliance issues. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information based on the review of OSS and assist in communicating the results to Compliance leadership. Escalate compliance issues based on the review of OSS to Operations leadership for corrective action. Manage the intake, review, and distribution of consumer complaints to assist management in submitting timely responses to regulatory agencies. Submit Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) requests to regulatory agencies. Maintain and report on the customer complaint log. Receive and maintain original requests for EFT revocations and delegate to the appropriate department for processing. Update and maintain the master EFT revocation log. Manage as necessary. Prepare materials for the monthly Compliance Committee meeting and Corporate Business Review. Assist with compliance related special projects in response to exam issues, exam production, and consumer complaints. Lead weekly meetings with immediate supervisor(s) to provide a progress report on weekly assignments and projects. Periodically assist with gathering information and compiling reports to meet licensing deadlines. Maintain proficient knowledge of the financial services industry and applicable rules, regulations, and federal and state laws, including Consumer Protection laws. Perform other related duties as requested. A Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate is preferred. Financial services experience preferred. Must be proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SharePoint and Visio proficiency are a plus. Should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
