National Tax Services- Exempt Orgs Intern Summer 2018 The candidate will play a role as an intern in National Tax Services practice. Participate in select phases of the tax consulting and compliance engagements which may include aspects of planning, execution and completion. Participate in select projects; demonstrate creative thinking, flexibility and individual initiative. Contribute to collaborative teamwork, through working effectively as a team member: understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback. Flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must be Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3. Preferred Major GPA: 3.3.. Eligible students should be in the 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year. Degree Preferred: Master's degree in Accountancy, Taxation, JD or LLM Taxation. Certification(s) Preferred: Before starting with PwC full time, will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for the appropriate practice area, such as having 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in certain states. Must have ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communications. Demonstrated self-motivation and has a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and career development is needed.
