A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their dedicated team, focusing on helping clients seek justice and fair compensation for personal injuries caused by negligence. Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including those involving commercial vehicles and catastrophic injuries.
  • Manage and resolve a caseload from intake to trial.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to develop case strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and updates to clients regarding the status of their cases.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and court proceedings as required.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and team members to strategize and prepare for trials.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to manage a full caseload and independently handle client matters.
  • Strong track record of successful outcomes in personal injury litigation, including trial experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing a high volume of cases.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the core values of professionalism, integrity, and client advocacy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Additional state bar memberships are a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficient in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Commitment to client service and achieving optimal outcomes.
